Jonathan Lucy, Director of Bands

Our Director of Bands is Jonathan Lucy. This is his 8th year of teaching. Mr. Lucy spent his first three years at Fort Frye Local Schools in Ohio and the most recent three years at Richmond Community Schools in Indiana. He has started WGI Indoor Winds groups, show choirs, jazz bands, and more. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education at Miami University and his Master of Arts in Educational Psychology at Ball State University. Mr. Lucy’s primary instrument is trombone and in his spare time he enjoys travel, video games, and writing music. Notably, he wrote the soundtrack to a game on Steam called Brukel.
